About Orson

Orson is a 13-year-old, 15-pound Schnauzer who is ready for the peaceful, loving home he deserves. Orson came into rescue after being neglected for years and spending much of his life crated in a basement. He arrived severely matted, including a large mat covering his face and eye. Since coming into rescue, he has received the care he needed and is now feeling so much better. Orson is neutered and has had all of his remaining teeth removed. He is also housetrained and is a gentle, easygoing boy who is happy to enjoy the simple things in life. He does well with other dogs, does not bark, and enjoys short walks. He can manage one or two steps to get outside into the yard. He would be a wonderful companion for someone looking for a calm senior dog who doesn't need a busy lifestyle. A soft bed, a few short walks, some sunshine, and a person to call his own would mean everything to this deserving boy. After everything Orson has been through, he deserves to spend his golden years surrounded by love and comfort.
