About Molly & Barney

FOSTER CARER NEEDED - MOLLY & BARNEY - Rockhampton region - Molly - almost 6years old, female - Barney - 6 years old, male Molly and Barney are a bonded pair who are looking for a family where they can enjoy the active, loving lifestyle they deserve. These two have found themselves needing a new home because their family no longer has the time to give them the interaction, exercise and attention they need. Their family are heartbroken, but they are currently spending much of their time outside and have started digging holes due to not getting their usual daily walks. About Molly & Barney: Great with children, calm and gentle. They have had limited interaction with other dogs so for now, it's just needs to be the two of them. They have had no exposure to other animals (cats/birds etc). They love daily walks, especially on the beach and need a home that is committed to exercising their bodies and stimulating their minds. Molly loves to play with her ball and Barney loves a good game of tug-o-war with his rope. They are toilet trained and have previously lived inside. Both are friendly, and will happily lap up all the attention you'll give them. Barney can be a little more timid but once he warms up, you'll be his best friend! They rarely bark, and don't escape! Please note, Barney suffers from skin allergies, which will be discussed in detail with potential foster carers, and a full vet check completed once in care. Barney's allergies are exacerbated by the hot and humid climate of Central Queensland so although, they're located in the Rockhampton region, applications outside of the region, in cooler climates, are encouraged to apply.
