About Princess

Princess is a sweet 7-year-old Schnauzer weighing 12 lbs, and she's looking for a very special forever home. She may need a little extra patience and understanding, but once she trusts you, she becomes the most loving little companion. Princess' favorite things include playing fetch with her favorite tennis ball in a fenced yard and going for walks, although she can be reactive when she sees people. Once Princess warms up to you, she becomes a true velcro and lap dog who demands pets, scratches and will also give you kisses on the lips. Princess prefers women, although she may warm up to a man who is patient and willing to give her the time she needs. She is also not a fan of children, as she does not understand their energy, so an adult-only home would be best. She is fearful of strangers and does not like people approaching her. She is excellent with other small dogs and cats, although big dogs can scare her. Princess is 100% house trained and completely non-destructive. She does not need to be crated and is perfectly happy roaming the house. In fact, being confined in a crate causes her significant stress and can make her reactive. She travels best in a vehicle with a car harness. Princess is up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped and dewormed.
