Hayley is an adorable 3-month-old Shepherd mix with a gentle heart, a playful spirit, and so much love to give. This sweet little girl is already off to a wonderful start! She knows 'sit', loves her treats, takes them gently, and is easily redirected. Like any young puppy, Hayley can get a little excited when she sees people, dogs, or wildlife while walking, but her evaluator noted that her leash pulling was 'not bad'-especially impressive for such a young pup! She greeted her evaluator with a loose, friendly body and happily asked for more affection, making it pretty clear that Hayley loves being loved. Hayley has the sweetest puppy personality. She was described as 'very sweet' with gentle puppy play and enjoyed having fun without becoming overly excited. She did beautifully with full-body handling, remaining comfortable while her paws, ears, tail, collar, and body were touched. Even hugs were perfectly fine with this little lovebug! Hayley also showed no concerning food or possession guarding behaviors and readily gave up valued items when asked. And if you're hoping for a puppy who enjoys making four-legged friends, Hayley may just steal your heart! She was friendly and playful with all three dogs she met during her evaluation. She played politely, interacted appropriately in a group setting, and was assessed as 'likely all-around dog friendly'. She seems like the kind of puppy who would be thrilled to have a canine buddy to play with and learn from. Hayley also had a very encouraging introduction to the shelter cat. She approached politely with a loose, waggy body and gave the cat a curious sniff. When the cat gave her a little swat to set a boundary, Hayley immediately backed down and whined rather than pushing the interaction. She appeared to understand and respect the cat's request for space and was assessed as 'likely cat friendly'. At just 3 months old, Hayley has her whole life ahead of her. She's sweet, affectionate, playful, social, gentle, and eager to learn-a wonderful little puppy just waiting for someone to fall in love with her. Hayley is ready for a family who will help her grow, teach her all the things a good girl needs to know, and give her a lifetime of adventures, snuggles, and love. All she needs now is a place to call home!
