Dolly is a sweet **6-month-old Terrier mix** with a gentle, easygoing personality and a soft, submissive nature. She is still a young pup with plenty to learn, but she is already showing so many wonderful qualities. Dolly loves treats, takes them gently, and is easily redirected with a simple leash tug when something catches her attention. She may pull a little when she sees people or other dogs, but her evaluator noted that her pulling was **'not bad.'** Dolly enjoys affection and has a nice level of play without becoming overly aroused. During her evaluation, she was described as **very sweet, gentle, easygoing, and submissive**. She was completely comfortable with full-body handling, including having her paws, ears, tail, collar, and body touched, and she allowed both teeth examinations without struggling. Dolly also showed **no concerning food or possession guarding behaviors**. Her food was handled throughout the food-bowl evaluation without an issue, and she readily gave up a valued possession during all three attempts. One of Dolly's biggest strengths is how well she does with other dogs. She met several different canine friends during her evaluation and remained friendly and appropriate with each of them. She was especially **sweet and gentle with the smaller puppies** and was described as mild-mannered and submissive. Her evaluator also noted that Dolly seems to **gain confidence around other dogs**, and her final assessment listed her as **likely all-around dog friendly**. Dolly's cat evaluation was encouraging as well. She was cautious and somewhat afraid to approach the shelter cat, but she did not show concerning fixation or aggression. She was easily redirected and ultimately assessed as **likely cat friendly**. At only 6 months old, Dolly has lots of growing and learning ahead of her. She is a **gentle, affectionate, playful, dog-friendly puppy** who would love a family that will continue building her confidence and help her blossom into the wonderful companion she's already showing herself to be.
