About Loretta

Loretta is a sweet and social 2-year-old Spaniel mix with a fun, affectionate personality. She knows sit, is very treat motivated, takes treats gently, and is easily redirected. She can pull a little on leash when excited about seeing people or other dogs, but overall her leash manners aren't bad. Loretta loves attention and can get very excited about treats-she may even give you a little bark if you're taking too long to hand one over! Loretta is playful and especially loves balls. She can get excited during play but settles easily, and her evaluator noted that she is very careful about where her mouth is when playing. She did wonderfully with full-body handling and showed no concerning food or possession guarding behaviors. She also did great meeting several dogs and was assessed as likely all-around dog friendly. Loretta was particularly gentle and maternal while playing with smaller puppies and was described as a 'polite and respectful girl.' Her cat evaluation was encouraging as well. She was cautious about approaching the cat and preferred to leave the situation rather than interact, showing no aggression and earning an assessment of likely cat friendly. Overall, Loretta is an affectionate, playful, dog-friendly girl with a lot of personality who is ready to find a family of her own!
