About Sarama

Sarama has had a life. She was dumped as a pup and she ran for 6-9 months for sure along a busy hwy and was terrified. She nearly died. She was hit at least once and survived it along the hwy. She became terrified of people. She was then starving and skin and bones and was clipped and injured by a car. She went into a drainage culvert along the hwy and it took days to be able to get her out of the at least 40 ft culvert as she was mid way and it took us some ideas to be able to get her out and trap her. Finally we did and she spent weeks in hospital and then came out for a few weeks to continue to heal but then she would go back for a few weeks longer to be spayed and then go through successful heartworm treatment that costed thousands. She is healthy and fully vetted and heartworm negative now. Sarama needs a home that is calm and peaceful so to speak. She is a sweet timid girl whom has come so far. But she wants to be loved and cherished and she is a tad still afraid of loud noises and angry voices and yelling. She is good on a leash and will go potty in a fenced yard with supervision. But she likes to be out in short spouts of time. She so wants a lap and a bed to call her own. She would be great for anyone of any age. Including any senior who has a spot open for a precious dog that will be their world. She will promise you a life time of continued love. With that said she will do good in any home that is able to be all she needs- kindness and love... No outside homes. No homes where you think it is okay that your dogs go out off leash with no yard. She will bond to someone fast and will completely lap up them and their love. Please reach out if you have the love to give. She is in Clovis NM
