About Esther

Meet Esther, a 4-year-old Labrador mix who weighs 54 pounds. She is super sweet, very beautiful and little reserved, but coming out of her shell with her foster. She does well on leash and is house trained! You will often find Esther playing and napping with her friend Ava who is also up for adoption. She loves to be with other doggie friends and enjoys her toys and loves car rides too! Esther had a rough start and experienced some trauma living on the street. She loves all people but prefers peace and quiet and stillness. She is comfortable hanging out by herself but will follow you around the house when she feels love, as she is truly seeking to be loved and be the VERY best friend to someone who will care for her forever! Esther does well with cats, dogs, and children making her a fit for any loving home. She needs and wants to be placed in a forever home that will give Esther the time she needs to be showered with actions of love and protection, and we know she will bloom! Esther is located in Houston, Texas, but can be transported to most states for an additional fee of $300.
