Jif is a certified lovebug who wants nothing more than to play fetch with her favorite ball and then curl up next to you for a serious cuddle session. She has been fostering in a home with seven-year-old granddaughters and has been absolutely awesome, patient, and loving with the kids. She is also a proven farm girl, having done remarkably well around goats and yardbirds! On walks, Jif is a dream and handles the leash like a pro. She is smart and knows her basic cues like 'sit' and 'down'-though she prefers to execute them on her own schedule! Jif gets along with other dogs but possesses a confident, spunky personality; she expects mutual respect and won't tolerate being bullied by bossy pups. Jif has a naturally curious mind and a habit of wanting to 'taste' everything while exploring her world. Because of her size and high interest in small, fast-moving critters, she will need proper introductions to smaller pets (her status with cats is a mystery).
