About Nonie

Nonie is a great cat, loves her human, likes to play (chasing and jumping for wand toys), and is great with food and her litterbox. She keeps herself clean with regular grooming. (Once had to be professionally groomed when she got into something sticky and the groomer said she was fine with the bath, but didn't enjoy the hair dryer.) She's affectionate, but doesn't love being picked up or held too long. Pretty easy to give her pills, and to get her in a carrier to go to the vet. She sometimes sleeps on the bed but doesn't suffocate me. ;-) She loves a high perch if available so she can survey her domain or look outside. She's very curious and always wants to know what's going on and be involved. I don't want to give her up, but she and her sister need to live separately (see explanation below). She will be a fantastic only cat and will keep you entertained. Nonie and her sister Purrl got into a huge fight (their first since I adopted them 1.5 years ago) and now need to be separated. I don't know the cause of the fight or why they are now enemies because it happened in the middle of the night. This is the only behavioral issue. She is great with me (her human) and doesn't seem to have an other behavior problems. This is the first and only time there has been a problem and I don't think she was the aggressor in this situation. Because of this I feel she should be the only cat in a household, and I don't know how she is with children or dogs. She and her sister both disappear and hide if someone comes in the house (repairmen etc). They do come out after the person leaves. She likes to chase balls and a little springy toy. She also likes to jump and chase wand toys with a toy at the end of a string. She also randomly gets the zoomies. She's just coming up on 2 years old so she's still playful and active, but past the kitten stage. Please help find Nonie or Purrl a loving home! It's hard to keep them separate in my house and they really need to live apart for their sake and mine.
