Lemon is a cautious little bird, but he always has a song to sing in the morning and loves the simple pleasure of eating millet! He is shy and easily spooked, but with enough time, patience, and treats, he is willing to step onto hands and shoulders. An ideal home for Lemon would have other birds for him to socialize and preen with, as he recently lost his buddy. He would also do best in a home where he can safely fly around and get his zoomies out. Also willing to provide a free large cage/seeds/pellets/branches if needed. His diet is a mix of Harrison's pellets and seed, and he loves leafy greens such as bok choy. New foods can sometimes scare him at first, so he may need a little encouragement when trying something unfamiliar. Lemon has been very healthy throughout the two years I've had him. He has recently developed some bald patches under his wings, and I am taking him to the vet to have them checked out. Otherwise, he has been doing well and has no other known health concerns.
