Connor is spending his last night at the shelter. He needs our help now! His final hold date is Monday, 9.14.26 at 4 pm. He is at the Harnett County Animal Shelter in Lillington, NC. Connor just wants to be out of his kennel and who can blame him. He was given a final hold as sadly no one has shown any interest in him, and after a month, he is getting a bit frustrated in his kennel. When he was out today, he was free and happy and running around and playing. He met another dog playing in the outdoor kennel next to him and was happy to meet him! This dog just wants a family to love him and be part of something special. He wants to play, run, and be your boy. Please come to meet him on Monday, his last day. I know we can find a home for him that will love him forever. If you want to foster him (and please remember fostering is a commitment until he would be adopted), post here and I can put you in touch with a rescue that also is trying to help him but needs a foster. Connor is one year old, neutered, hw negative and dog friendly. Connor weighs just 34 lbs. Please remember he has been at the shelter over a month, and he needs time to decompress as all shelter animals require to properly adjust. Slow introductions to new dogs and I am told no cats for Connor. The shelter is open Monday from 10 am to 4 pm. Please contact me if you can help 919 624 0059
