About Sterling *special need

[Read About Natural Seizure Care] Sterling is a very sweet, approximately 2.5 y/o, apx. 60 lb. bulldog mix (possibly with hound, pointer, or even border collie) who found himself in an overcrowded kill Shelter after being on the run, loose in a NC community, for an entire year. When he was finally trapped and brought into the shelter, he was so shut down and terrified that he went immediately on the euthanasia list. We knew from experience that what he needed was to be put with other confident, well adjusted, and happy dogs to show him how to be a dog and that although life can be really hard at times, not all humans are out to hurt him. He was sent to a boarding place where he indeed has come out of his shell thanks to the assortment of other dogs he is now always around. Unfortunately, while in boarding, it was discovered that he suffers from seizures and is now on daily medication and is almost entirely seizure-free. Sterling is desperately hoping for that special person or family to open their heart to him as he has never known life in a home environment - he has only known life outdoors, on the run, then in a terrifying shelter, and now in a boarding environment for months (which is no place for a special-needs pup to be). ***** if you can help Sterling by adopting OR fostering, please TEXT Aly ASAP at 732-604-0625 ***** Thank you for caring about a pet in urgent need!
