About Royal

Royal is a friendly, affectionate, and playful dog who enjoys being around people and is comfortable with children and strangers. He has a moderate energy level and enjoys playing and spending time with the family, but he is equally happy lounging around, relaxing, and getting attention. He also loves food and is always excited for mealtime and treats. Royal is house-trained to go outside and is comfortable being crated. He remains calm in his crate when no one is home. Accidents are very uncommon, although he has occasionally had one after eating something that upset his stomach. Royal gets along very well with his littermate, Prince, who has lived with him his entire life. He has also done well around other dogs during appointments. During his first socialization class, however, he was initially shy and nervous when unfamiliar dogs approached him. He may simply need some time and gradual introductions to feel comfortable with new dogs. Overall, Royal is a loving, easygoing companion who enjoys a good balance of playtime, family time, food, and plenty of lounging around. He would do well with a caring family who can give him attention, affection, and time to adjust to his new environment.
