About Abyad

This beautiful Highland Fold boy, Abyad, is looking for a loving forever home in the USA. His name Abyad means 'white,' and he is truly one of the sweetest cats you could ever meet. He is extremely affectionate, cuddly, and loving, and he does wonderfully with cats, dogs, and people. Abyad really deserves a caring, gentle home where he can get all the love and attention he gives so freely. He will be arriving on September 29 from Alaman Shelter, a non-profit rescue in Kuwait dedicated to saving cats from the streets and the black market and giving them a second chance at life. He has been tested for FIV and FeLV and is negative for both. Adoption requirements: * Prospective adopters will be asked to complete an adoption application before being approved. * Adopters must be able to pick him up at Dulles International Airport (IAD) in Virginia on September 29. * While these cats receive veterinary care before traveling and are healthy enough to fly, we always recommend scheduling a wellness exam with your own veterinarian after adoption, just as you would with any newly adopted pet, especially one arriving from overseas.
