About Katie

Meet Katie! Katie's family found themselves facing an unexpected financial hardship when their household went from two incomes to one. They had to quickly find new living arrangements but, despite their best efforts, could not find an affordable home that would allow their pets. With only days remaining before they would have to surrender their beloved animals to a shelter, they contacted Mini Wonders Adoptions for help. Fortunately, we were able to welcome Katie into our care. Katie is a purebred, AKC-registered Cocker Spaniel who arrived with a folder full of pedigree and registration paperwork-but no medical records. To ensure she received everything she needed, we started her veterinary care from the beginning. Katie was scheduled to be spayed, but during surgery, the veterinarian discovered that she had already been spayed. She has now been vaccinated, tested negative for heartworms, and microchipped. Katie is ready to put all these changes behind her and begin a wonderful new chapter. She is looking for a loving family who will keep her safe, cherish her, and care for her for the rest of her life. Could Katie be the missing piece of your family?
