About Penelope

Penelope Female, Heeler/Hound Mix, 12 weeks old, currently 20-25 lbs. Sweet girl seeking lifelong commitment. Meet Penelope, one of the darling girls of our Odyssey Litter! At only 10 weeks old, Penelope and her sisters had already experienced far more uncertainty than any puppy should. They were found after being dumped at a construction site in Central Washington, but thanks to our wonderful transport partners, they were brought to safety and eventually joined us at APS-FH. And Penelope? She's ready to put that chapter firmly behind her. This sweet Heeler/Hound mix is playful, curious, affectionate, and incredibly bright. She already knows how to sit and is at that wonderful puppy age where every day brings something new to learn. She's eager to explore the world, figure out how things work, and determine whether everything she encounters is A) a toy, B) a snack, or C) something she should probably put in her mouth anyway. Penelope is looking for a family who understands that raising a puppy is an adventure of its own. With positive training, patience, exercise, snuggles, and a good sense of humor, she'll have everything she needs to grow into an incredible companion. She survived an uncertain beginning.
