About Helen

Helen Female, Heeler/Hound Mix, 12 weeks old, currently 20-25 lbs Beautiful? Yes. Smart? Also, yes. Responsible for launching a thousand ships? No comment. Meet Helen, one of the four lovely ladies of our Odyssey Litter! Helen and her sisters were found after being dumped at a construction site in Central Washington. Their story could have ended there, but thanks to our wonderful transport partners, these girls made their way safely to APS-FH, and Helen has decided she's ready for much better accommodations. Preferably somewhere with a couch. At 12 weeks old, Helen is sweet, playful, curious, and already showing us just how clever these Heeler/Hound pups can be. She knows how to sit and is eager to keep learning, especially when snacks are involved. Helen approaches puppy life with enthusiasm: toys must be investigated, people must be kissed, and mysterious noises must be thoroughly examined. She's looking for a family ready to guide her through puppyhood with patience, positive training, plenty of playtime, and all the love she deserves. With that bright little brain and adventurous spirit, we think Helen will make a fantastic companion for someone looking for a best friend to grow alongside.
