About Ellie

Ellie is a sweet 10-year-old Bloodhound looking for a calm, patient home to spend her golden years. She's a loving companion who listens well, enjoys being around her people, and has a gentle personality once she feels safe and comfortable. She can be unsure around other dogs at first and would need slow, proper introductions. Her behavior around other animals is currently unknown. Because she is very anxious and nervous in stressful situations, she is not a good fit for a home with young children and may react aggressively when overwhelmed. She would thrive best in a quiet adult home where she can feel secure, loved, and understood. Rehoming is not an easy decision for us, but we cannot risk an accident happening with our kids or our other dog, as she had started going after him.
