About Luna

Luna was rescued from the pound about five years ago to be a companion for my disabled sister. Luna lives with my sister and two cats. Luna has one eye and the pound she came from did not know why. She is as sweet as can be. Luna is very low key, but does not care for other dogs. She does like her cat friends.. She is smart as a whip and stubborn as heck. She's very calm and quiet. Our best guess is she is husky, with malamute and Great Pyrenees.. She walks very well on a lead and is house-trained. She does not fear water like a great Pyrenees and she does not panic when someone comes to the house. . My sister just had brain surgery. She is no longer able to care for Luna as she will be moving into an assisted-living facility. My sister's siblings currently have multiple-pet households, which are not suited to Luna. We are looking for a low-key, secure and happy home for this girl. She would be great for a senior because she is so gentle and loving, and very easy to walk. Thank you for your consideration.
