Meet Oscar, who comes to us from the shelter. He was part of an animal cruelty case, and the owners never reclaimed him. Oscar is a 4-year-old Dachshund. He is housetrained, good with other dogs, very sweet, and loving. Oscar is neutered, current on his vaccines and microchipped. He did test positive for heartworm and has been placed on the Proheart / Doxycycline slow kill protocol, which we will continue until he tests negative taking 6-12 months at the latest.
