(DOB 12/03/2025) Meet G.G. (short for Good Girl). Her big, soulful puppy eyes are just the beginning of what makes GG so special. This older puppy (around 35 pounds) has the softest velvety coat you'll ever pet, and while she may be a little shy at first, there's a sweet, loving girl just waiting to blossom. With a little patience, she'll start seeking you out for affection, leaning in for pets, and showing you her gentle heart. Watching her confidence grow is incredibly rewarding. One thing that brings GG out of her shell almost instantly? Other dogs! She absolutely lights up around canine friends and loves to play. Whether it's zooming around the yard, wrestling with a buddy, or sharing toys, another playful, confident dog in the home is a must. Having a furry sibling helps her feel safe and encourages her to be the happy, carefree pup she's meant to be. GG is crate trained and is doing well with potty training with a consistent schedule. Like any young dog, she'll thrive with a consistent routine to help her continue building good habits. She enjoys spending time outdoors, especially when she's with her favorite people or dog friends. Because she's still gaining confidence, she'll need a securely fenced yard and shouldn't be left outside alone. She feels safest when she's with someone she trusts. When playtime rolls around, GG is all in! Stuffed toys and rope toys are among her favorites, and she loves having fun with her canine companions. GG is looking for a patient, understanding home that will give her the time she needs to truly shine. In return, you'll get the joy of watching a timid puppy grow into a loyal, loving best friend. If you have a playful resident dog and a heart big enough to let GG bloom at her own pace, she just might be the perfect addition to your family. As part of G.G's $300 adoption fee, she will be spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. If you have questions about this sweet girl, you can email: [email protected]. If you wish to adopt G.G., you can complete an application online for her under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website: www.pawsforlifenc.org.
