Journey is a bright, intelligent, playful, and caring young dog. He seems to need a lot of attention but can also very much be ok on his own. He loves toys and loves all things play. His listens and understands commands incredibly well and rarely will he disregard a command. The one thing is he very sensitive and doesn't take well to harsher tones. I wish I could have made it work with him here in Tahoe, but ultimately we haven't been a good fit for each other. My lifestyle and how busy I have become has resulted in care that is less than he deserves. With the right family I think he could become an outstanding companion. He deserves someone who can provide stability and consistent attention, and maybe another dog friend that he can bond with. He is somewhat sensitive and has some anxiety but he is also still very young and figuring things out. Other than that he doesn't get into trouble and he understand my expectations very well. Initially there was some separation anxiety but that subsided. One notable behavior is his love for other dogs. The only time he really gets distracted or loses his recall ability is around other dogs. But even that has improved.
