This weeks dog of the week is Colin! Colin a 4 month, 48lbs Great Pyrenees mix. Colin is a very smart boy and has already started learning his puppy basics like sit, stay, and come. He's got his potty and crate training down, though we always recommend keeping up with training as he is still a puppy and might have accidents. He loves water and has enjoyed the kiddie pool this summer. He does great with other dogs and is affectionate with his foster family. As a Great Pyrenees mix, Colin is expected to grow into a beautiful large-breed companion with the classic Livestock Guardian Dog qualities: Loyal and deeply devoted to his family, intelligent and an independent thinker, calm and patient as he matures. Like all LGD puppies, Colin will thrive with positive training, continued socialization, and a family that understands giant breeds. He'll bring plenty of puppy playfulness today while growing into the steady, affectionate companion Great Pyrenees are so well known for. Colin has not been cat tested but would love a fellow canine companion, children 8+ may be considered. As a large breed, a home with plenty of space and a yard is preferred. If you're looking for a best friend who loves both adventure and quiet cuddle time, Colin may just steal your heart. Please complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms as the first step if you are interested in meeting Colin. We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Colin is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and chipped. His adoption fee is $425.
