About Pongo

Pongo is a beautiful, loving, goofy, and incredibly sweet boy who has quickly stolen our hearts! He is a wonderful companion who loves to play, whether it's with other dogs or his favorite toys, but he is just as happy to curl up and relax with his people. Pongo has been doing great with his canine staffy foster brother. The two have been coexisting beautifully and enjoy playing together. Pongo seems to genuinely enjoy the company of other dogs and has done very well sharing his space. We're currently working with Pongo on his leash manners, and he is making great progress! He isn't particularly reactive, although he can get a little excited when he sees smaller dogs while out on walks. He is a very smart boy and eager to learn, and he will thrive with someone who is willing to continue his obedience training and help him become the best version of himself. Pongo would do wonderfully with an active family who enjoys spending time with their dog and is excited to keep working with him. At the end of the day, though, Pongo is happiest being close to his people, getting some love, and showing off his sweet and goofy personality. This good boy has so much love to give and is going to make an amazing addition to the right family!
