Peanut is a 10-month-old, 45-pound rough-coated border collie who we recently rescued, and we're still getting to know all the things about him. One thing we know for sure is that this little guy loves, loves, loves having canine companions around. He's also so sweet with everyone he meets, always smiling, and just a happy, friendly little guy. Peanut is learning the ropes as he goes, and so far he's been doing really well. He seems to be potty trained and is working on getting into a consistent routine. He's also working on his crate training and leash manners. The crate isn't his favorite place just yet, but he's getting there! As a young border collie, Peanut would love an active family who understands herding breeds and is ready to continue helping him learn and grow. He would especially love having a friendly canine companion around, because he really does love being with other dogs. If you're looking to adopt a young, very sweet, floofy boy, Peanut may be your guy. He is currently being fostered in San Diego.
