About Luna

Luna is two years old, about 40 pounds, and incredibly sweet. She will crawl right into your lap and follow you everywhere. Luna was abandoned in an apartment by a tenant. She was incredibly malnourished, covered in fleas, and very fearful. Due to her past and history of starvation, she can be food aggressive. She does best if she is crated while people are eating and left alone while eating (this is also the reason she would not be an ideal dog for families with young children.) Luna is an active dog and would thrive in a home where she is regularly exercised and given the chance to engage her brain. She is totally content to snuggle on the couch or take a nap too, so truly the best of both worlds.
