About Solar

Meet Solar ��'ە�%8F Solar is a sweet one-year-old orange tabby with a big heart and a wonderful story to tell. She arrived at the shelter as a stray with her four precious kittens, and from the moment she came in, she proved what an amazing mama she was. She was loving, devoted, and the very best mommy to her babies. Unfortunately, Solar came down with a kitty cold, and to protect her kittens from getting sick, they had to be separated from her and bottle-fed. Thankfully, Solar is all better now-and she has found a very special place to spend her days while she waits for her forever family. These days, Solar hangs out in our tech office, where she gets to socialize with all the kittens who come through. And she absolutely loves it! She enjoys being around other cats and gets along wonderfully with them. She also adores people and is always happy to receive affection and pets. Solar isn't a huge fan of being picked up, but she'll happily make up for it by sitting nearby, soaking up attention, and enjoying all the love you have to give. She's a gentle, affectionate girl who has so much love left to give after being such a wonderful mama.
