About PRETTY MOONFLOWER

The shelter often gets critically over-capacity, meaning great doggies at risk of being euthanized due to lack of space!!! Which dogs are chosen is a crapshoot. Moonflower (love that name) arrived at the shelter on August 19th. In 'handling' video at the shelter, she looks mostly like she is trying to get out of the outside enclosure, but did run after balls thrown, per report does do some fetching. Not surprising, Moonflower is looking for a way out, since the dogs there are almost in their kennels 24/7, and since is a Husky, must be stressful as Huskies are active breeds. Per shelter volunteer post, Moonflower is stressed while in her kennel, once outside and given time, she is 'wonderful', loves doggie toys, gives her paw and lets them hold it as long as they want. Very much needs a good brushing. Has a leash test with another doggie at the shelter (female one, so expect to do well also with a male), she did some sniffing around and then walked away. PLEASE email to arrange to meet this very pretty girl with a very pretty name, but so very stressed being at the shelter!!! Moonflower can also be fostered, besides adopted.
