About Malachite

Malachite is still looking for help & running out of time! @followers @highlight Malachite arrived as a stray with several other dogs, over time Malachite & his friends original home was located... which led to a combined surrender of almost a dozen dogs in total due to levels of hoarding and irresponsible pet ownership. Sadly not all of them made it out of the shelter safely, leaving Malachite one of the last few dogs that was available for adoption seeing that window close behind him. Malachite has suffered with barrier reactivity at the shelter since arriving which has seen little resolution despite many efforts of enrichment and counter conditioning. Malachite presents himself insecure and used to being on the sidelines given the amount of dogs he's lived alongside on a single property. However, out of the kennel enjoying his time with volunteers and stretching his legs with other dogs is where Malachite shines & feels at ease. The shelter has tried hard to find Malachite a place to call home through adoption or rescue, but all those efforts haven't help with a solution leaving Malachite in urgent need of help.
