After her family experienced a hardship and could no longer care for her, Butter found herself at the shelter through absolutely no fault of her own. Now, this sweet girl is hoping someone will see what a wonderful companion she is and give her the loving forever home she deserves. Butter is friendly, playful, affectionate, and wonderfully vocal. She loves interacting with her people and isn't shy about letting you know when she has something to say! She also gets along well with other cats, making her a social and engaging companion. Butter has tested positive for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus), but FIV does not take away from her loving personality or her ability to enjoy life. FIV-positive cats can live happy, fulfilling lives with proper care, regular veterinary checkups, and a loving home.
