Ms. Sweetie came in a little scruffy and thin- but she was all smiles, and very loving. We are not certain of her background, but she is very submissive- hardly barks - and has yet to be aggressive with any human. Ms. Sweetie does VERY well when it comes to doing her business outside- or at the very end of her kennel away from her bed and food. She does not tear her toys or blanket, and loves to sleep on her little cot. When she first came in we could tell she was overwhelmed by the barking, the new noises and atmosphere. What we do know is that she was found with a collar, an unregistered microchip, and newly shaved for her sterilization. No one has coming looking for this angel in gray :(. And we have no idea why anyone would leave her behind. She is the gentlest soul this shelter has ever been graced with :). Do you think you could be there for her and not let her down? Ms. Sweetie loves to play but is quick to show her belly - she wants to show she is a friend-but because Sweetie is the new kid - the other dogs are not so nice to her. Her heart is gold --- and we can tell it is heavy- can you be Ms. Sweetie's new peace and quiet? Hello there the adoption fee is $30.00 CHECK ONLY it is low as we do not spay/neuter our animals or vaccinate as we do not have a vet on site. Upon adoption you would sign a legal contract stating that within sixty days you will get them sterilized and vaccinated per state requirement. Sometimes due to age or complications the 30 day window can be extended however A VETS LETTER IS NEEDED TO EXPLAIN THE REASON WHY. Your contract is not fulfilled and your adoption of the pet cannot be successfully closed until proof of sterilization and vaccination is provided to us from the adopter. You may come to the shelter any day of the week between 8 am and 4:30 pm, just please give us a call beforehand to let us know you are coming at 281 291 5644. Thank you!
