All inquiries should be directed to Peggy's owner at [email protected] Peggy is a doll!!! She's 9 years old and wants nothing more than to sit in your lap and love you. She is absolutely not a high energy Jack Russell Terrier. She's completely vetted and is in outstanding health. Peggy has great manners and is well trained. The only thing that Peggy doesn't like is other dogs. She needs to be an 'only'. This little female JRT just wants to be the queen! Peggy's owner brought her home 9 years ago. When Peggy was about 4 years old, she and one of the other dogs in the home began fighting. Eventually, she made the heartbreaking decision to find her a home where she could be the only dog. Peggy was incredibly fortunate to find the perfect person for her - a wonderful man who simply wanted a lap dog, a walking buddy and a companion. For the next 5 years, Peggy had the perfect life. She was loved, spoiled and very happy. Sadly, Peggy's adoptive dad recently passed away and she finds herself needing a home where she can be the only dog again. Peggy's original owner brought her back to her home after Peggy's adoptive dad passed, hoping that after 5 years things might be different, but it is clear that Peggy really does need to be someone's one and only dog. Peggy deserves a home where she can relax and be the center of someone's world without the stress of other dogs. Peggy has so much to offer the right person. She is incredibly loving, snuggly and well behaved. She listens well, loves going for walks and is perfectly happy curling up next to her person and being loved. And in true Jack Russell fashion, she's a pretty darn good critter catcher too! Peggy is not a Russell Rescue dog. Russell Rescue is only assisting with networking/placement. All inquiries should be directed to Peggy's owner at [email protected] Anyone interested in adopting should complete the adoption application at www.RussellRescue.com. The owner is asking for a small rehoming fee. A good vet reference is required to adopt Peggy. Peggy has many good years ahead of her. Her owner would love nothing more than to find another person who is looking for exactly what she is - a devoted little companion who wants her human all to herself. Peggy is located in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area. Her new owner will need to travel there to get her.
