Hello, I am urgently seeking a safe rescue, foster, or permanent home for a young female German Shepherd who unexpectedly wandered onto my property less than a month ago. I have made extensive efforts to locate her owner and had her scanned for a microchip, but she is not chipped and no owner has come forward. She is approximately one year old and is a wonderful dog-sweet, affectionate, intelligent, and eager to learn. She is great with children and other animals. She is very high-energy and would do best with someone who understands the needs of a young German Shepherd and can provide proper exercise, training, structure, and attention. Unfortunately, I cannot keep her permanently. I have an older dog of 12 years who does not get along with other dogs, and despite my efforts, it is not safe or sustainable to keep them together. She has not yet been vaccinated or spayed, and unfortunately I do not have the financial means to provide the veterinary care she needs. I am hoping to find a rescue or responsible foster/adopter who can help with her medical care and placement. I am particularly concerned about taking her to an overcrowded shelter where her life could potentially be at risk due to limited space. I do not want to give her to just anyone; I want to make sure she goes somewhere safe and responsible. I am willing to provide all information I have, cooperate with the placement process, and assist with transportation if needed. If you can help with rescue placement, fostering, veterinary assistance, transportation, or connecting me with a reputable German Shepherd rescue, I would be incredibly grateful. I took her in when she had nowhere else to go, and I am simply trying to find her the safe, loving home she deserves. Thank you for any help or referrals you can provide.
