**MEET CHEWY - A WONDERFUL CHOW CHOW LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME!** ORANGE COUNTY. Chewy is a 10-year-old male Chow Chow who truly is a GEM.** His family is trying desperately to honor his late owner's wishes and keep him **out of the shelter system** while finding him the loving, permanent home he deserves. **About Chewy:** 10-year-old male Chow Chow -Extremely loving, sweet-natured and gentle-Wonderful with other dogs - he was raised with another Chow. Cat-friendly - he lived peacefully with a cat. Very friendly with children. Up-to-date on all vaccinations. Current on monthly flea prevention Very attached to his people and loves being part of a family. Chewy is a big, happy boy who gets excited when greeting people at the door. Because of his size and enthusiasm, a home with **children age 6 or older** would be best. **Why does Chewy need a new home?** After the loss of his owner, his family has been doing everything they can to keep him safe. Unfortunately, they live in a small rental with **no yard and a strict no-dog policy, so they cannot permanently bring Chewy into their home. Pet sitters and time spent at his former home are only temporary solutions.
