About Archie

Archie was surrendered to the rescue as a litter surrender, he is almost 11 weeks old. He is up to date on all of his shots and is microchipped. He has no known health issues. However he is not neutered and a spay/neuter contract will need to be signed to adopt him to ensure the safety of the pup. The Westie, or West Highland White Terrier, is a no shedding breed from Scotland known for its bold, energetic, loyal, and cheerful personality. They are intelligent, playful, and great with children and other pets, but can be stubborn and independent, so they need firm, consistent training. Westies enjoy playing with balls and toys and benefit from interactive toys to keep their minds busy. They are hardy and confident despite their small size and make loving companions for their families. Their coat should be brushed several times a week and professionally groomed about every 8 to 12 weeks to keep it healthy. This happy, loyal breed is sure to bring lots of fun and love to your home!
