About Icee

ICEE NEEDS A MIRACLE. PLEASE DON'T LET HER STORY END HERE. SHE ONLY HAS until Thurs, Sept 10th! Imagine being sweet, loving, gentle, and completely deserving of a family�'�| and then being told your time is running out simply because no one has come for you yet. This is Icee. Icee is a beautiful 7-year-old, approximately 70-pound purebred white female German Shepherd who was found as a stray in Jurupa Valley. She has been sitting in the Riverside Shelter since June 13th. Day after day. Waiting. Hoping. Watching people walk by. And now�'�| Icee is on the euthanasia list. Not because she is mean. Not because she is dangerous. Not because she has problems with other dogs. She is simply running out of time. And that is absolutely heartbreaking. Because Icee is the SWEETEST GIRL. She loves people. She loves attention. She loves affection. She gives kisses. She wants nothing more than to be loved and to give all of her love right back. She has no issues with other dogs and is currently kenneled with a Husky. And then there's this precious girl in her little kiddie pool. OMG�'�| so cute. In the video, Icee puts her front feet right into the kiddie pool while she drinks water. It's such a simple, innocent little moment, but it shows you the sweet, goofy, lovable girl hiding behind those shelter walls. How can a dog this loving be running out of time? Because no one knew she was there�'�|she was invisible like a lot of dogs in these overcrowded shelters. Icee didn't ask to be abandoned. She didn't choose to become a stray. She didn't choose to spend months in a shelter. And she certainly doesn't deserve to die because her kennel became her temporary home for too long. ICEE NEEDS A FOSTER OR ADOPTER�'�|ASAP.
