About Willy

Willy is a very anxious boy and is scared of new people and places, but very playful, loving, and loyal once he gets comfortable with you. His anxiety requires a lot of patience but he generally responds well to training and is very food-motivated. We've had him since he was 4 months old and moved him across the country with us last year. Unfortunately many circumstances have changed and we are unable to give him the amount of time and attention and mental stimulation that he needs. He would really thrive in a home with no children, either as the only dog or with a dog sibling to play with and boost his confidence. We have a toddler and though he is gentle with her, he doesn't like sharing our time and attention with her. He deserves to be showered with love by a family who has more time for him. We never thought we'd have to do this but he just hasn't been as happy since our daughter came into the picture and we don't think it's fair to keep him in this situation.
