About Jacob

Jacob is a smart, food- and toy-motivated boy who is eager to learn! He's tolerant of handling and walks fairly well on leash for his size. He knows 'sit' and is working on 'stay' and 'down.' Jacob can get excited and become jumpy and mouthy, so continued basic training and structure will help him thrive. He has shown some food resource guarding, so an experienced home that understands boundaries around food would be best. Jacob enjoys playing with other dogs and has been tested with both males and females. He's a very physical, energetic player and can be too much for smaller dogs. He takes corrections well, although he may need a few reminders. Jacob is looking for a home ready to continue his training and help him become the best version of himself!
