About Franklin

Meet Franklin! Franklin was born around May 30th and he currently weighs 4 pounds!! He is a black and tan chihuahua puppy. Franklin and his brother Charlie Brown were surrendered to an overcrowded shelter which is not a safe place for two chihuahua babies to be! We were asked to help and they landed in a wonderful foster home!! Franklin is a very alert and active puppy but oh, so sweet! He loves racing around the fenced yard at his foster home. He wishes the resident dogs would play with him! He would love to have another young playful pup in his new home to play with. If not, he will be content to sit on your lap and be loved on. He is working on housetraining but does well with puppy pads and will potty outside when taken. As in true chihuahua fashion, he does like to alert you with his barking. We are working on that!! We have begun crate training and this smart boy is doing very well. He is just darling and will be a great addition to your family. Franklin is up to date on age appropriate shots, microchipped and due to be neutered. He will be ready to go to his forever home at the end of September!!! Franklin is in TN but will be transported to New England for adoption. The adoption fee is $650 and that includes a health certificate and transport to New England.
