About Kaya

We are looking to rehome our sweet 10 year old Kaya because life has become more on the go and we aren't as home as much as she needs/wants us to be. She is a cuddler and loves for her people to be home but with 2 young children we aren't home for long stretches. She loves going on walks, sitting outside in the sunshine, and laying on the couch/bed. She is very sweet tempered and loves all people. She has always lived with another dog, until she recently passed away. Kaya has been doing fine as an only pet but I think prefers having company, although its not a deal breaker. She has lived with a cat and did well. She lives with 2 small children currently and is fine with them. She is not food aggressive. She goes outside on a lead right now and would do well to continue on that or would love a fenced in back yard to run around in. Since she is older she doesnt have as much energy but still gets the zoomies and will try to run free for a few minutes if allowed. She loves squeaky toys and does well at the vet. She is up to date on all shots, except 1 but will be given that before going to her new home.
