MEET TREK - A LITTLE FIGHTER WHO REFUSED TO GIVE UP! Somewhere between a heartbreaking beginning and a beautiful future is a little pup named Trek. And what a trek it has already been. Trek and his siblings were left on a dirt road inside an igloo ice chest, with their tiny umbilical cords still attached. They were newborn babies who never should have had to fight for their lives. Then, thankfully, a citizen came driving down that dirt road. She spotted the ice chest and thought she might be able to use it. Thank goodness she stopped! Because when she stopped, she discovered FIVE tiny newborn puppies inside! Sadly, only two of those precious babies survived. And one of those survivors is our sweet boy, Trek. Born on June 17, 2026, Trek is believed to be a Staffordshire/Pit Bull mix and currently weighs 11 pounds. This little guy didn't just survive - he fought! From being abandoned as a helpless newborn to becoming a happy, healthy, growing puppy, Trek has shown everyone just how strong he really is. He may have started life in an ice chest on a dirt road but look at him now! He is growing, thriving, and ready to begin the next chapter of his story. Two babies survived that terrible beginning. Trek is one of them. And we want his next chapter to be nothing short of amazing. This little fighter has already proven that he has the heart to overcome anything. Now he just needs someone to give him the forever home he has always deserved. Trek will be provided with all 3-sets of puppy vaccinations, dewormed, and micro-chipped. $115 rescue adoption fee applies.
