MISSY is with us at Murphy's Paw Rescue after we learned about her story�'�| MISSY came from a loving home of two senior citizens, one of whom has advanced Alzheimer's. Tragically, the husband passed away and the wife who suffers from Alzheimer's did not realize it until days later when a visitor came over. A kind, selfless neighbor stepped up for MISSY to be sure she would be safe and cared for while she searched for rescue help. While MISSY has experienced the heartbreaking loss of the only family she is always known�'�|she has also had many angels in her corner. She is now safe and sound in foster care, is freshly groomed and has received all the medical care needed in order to make her available for adoption and ready to find a forever home to cherish her. MISSY is low-key, friendly with all people and is great with other dogs. She has settled in flawlessly into foster care. We think a nice calm household would suit her best as that is what she's accustomed to, but she is very adaptable and is overall a very happy girl! Located in private foster in CT.
