About Miles

This is Miles, a handsome Border Collie / Australian Shepherd who was born in September 2025. He weighs between 45-50 pounds. Miles is a typical herder pup who is ready for a home who knows how to guide his energy. He is learning quickly in his foster home and already knows sit and here. He is crate trained and doing great with house training. He wants to please and will blossom with continued guidance. Miles is good with men and women. He has too much energy to be good with kids in the home. Miles is good with other dogs who appreciate a rambunctious play style. He loves playing with the younger pup in his foster home. He has done well with other dogs of various sizes. He can get excited and then try to be pushy, so it will benefit him to have an adopter who helps him continue to learn to manage his excitement. He isn't a fit for a home with older dogs who will find his activity irritating. Miles does live with dog savvy cats and would be fine as long as his adopter gives a polite introduction and the cats know how to manage a herder. Miles will be a fun activity buddy. He is good on leash, good in the car, and would be ideal for hiking and similar fun. He is already practicing his hiking skills on a long line in how foster home. Miles is a very handsome dog with a lovely coat. He is good with baths & brushing. Miles loves to have fun and loves his people. He is looking for an adult only home who provides the kind of activity and structure that helps a busy herder pup manage his impulses and continue to learn to be a good boy. �%A0 Miles is neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccinations.
