About Dakota von Datteln

Dakota von Datteln is a stunning 2 year old black and red long haired German Shepherd, obviously from a quality breeder. We got him via an animal shelter after his owners had been forced to give him up and were deported to China. Dakota didn't want to leave his family, even shelter volunteers were crying, They shared some pictures of his former life. He loved to hang out with friends' dogs, loved trips to their favorite creek for a swim, loved hikes and enjoyed being the apple of his parents' eyes. Luckily, we got call a from a volunteer, so Dakota only spent one night at the animal shelter. He is obedience trained, has good house skills, and does very well in playgroups at the rescue. We are looking for an active home for him, someone who also enjoys hikes and adventures and keeps up his training. Don't miss out on this spectacular dog!
