About Blue

This handsome guy is Blue. He is a Cattle Dog / Husky mix who is 8 years old and weighs 48 pounds. For those who know herders, we know this is a great age: Plenty of energy and also willing to relax when it's time to rest. Blue knows a lot. His obedience commands are: Sit, stay, paw, lie down, leave it, and wait. He knows tricks, too: Lie down, Roll over, jump up, go through (legs), and snoot. Blue is house trained also. He loves to learn and frequently gets compliments about how well behaved he is. Plus, Blue sings! Since he's half husky he has a beautiful howl that he loves to do when he is saying hi / meeting new people. He can also do this on command, his owner says 'say something Blue' and he'll give you a cheerful howl. Blue is good with people and polite in public. He is fine with kids in passing, wagging and happy, and only needs a home because he hasn't appreciated having a toddler at home. So no kids in his future home unless they are junior high and older. Blue is hood with dogs medium and small. He is a fun guy who likes to play with dog pals at the dog park. Sometimes he gets nervous around really big dogs but relaxes when he realizes that he is safe. Blue is a fun dog and is a solid adventure buddy. He is good on leash and good in the car. Blue is an incredible companion. He loves to be doing things with his owner(s) and then is happy to cuddle at the end of the day. He's loving and loves to hike with you and play tug-of-war and fetch the ball, etc. Click on the red YouTube button to watch him playing. Blue is neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccinations.
