About Maverick

This is my sister's dog, and she moved a while ago and was not able to take him. He has been staying with my aunt and uncle but unfortunately killed one of their chickens yesterday. My aunt and uncle decided he could no longer stay with them and we're having a lot of trouble finding him a permanent home. We are really running out of options and just need to find a loving home for him. Please help Mav find a good home (3. Here is what she wrote about him when she first started trying to rehome him: His name is Maverick and he's a husky/German shepherd mix. Although technically he's mutt because there's more mixed in there, but as you can see, he looks very husky/shepherd. He's approximately 3 years old, neutered, and about 65 lbs although that's a guess because it's been a while since I've had him weighed. He's crate trained and house broken, full of energy and loves to run. He's very loving, but also very unaware of his size. He's had a bit of training and responds to a few basic commands. He does pretty well other animals and kids but again likes to jump some and is unaware of his size. And he rarely barks, most often just because he's excited, I'm home.
