About AJAX

Meet Ajax! LOCAL ADOPTION ONLY. Ajax is a four-month-old Cavapoo/Bichon mix puppy. We are accepting foster-to-adopt applications only. Please read all the requirements carefully. We will not make exceptions, as we expect a very high level of interest. Ajax and his siblings were surrendered by a breeder to the shelter covered in fleas. Despite his rough beginning, Ajax is now ready to find a committed family that will provide him with the love, structure, and lifelong care he deserves. Requirements: Experience with Cavapoos, Bichons, or similar breeds is required. You must be financially prepared for regular professional grooming and veterinary care. You must have another small, young, and playful dog in the home. No exceptions. You must live in Miami-Dade, Broward, or Palm Beach County. All dogs in the home must be spayed or neutered and current on vaccines. Proof is required. Ajax is not potty trained. His family must be prepared to provide patience, consistency, training, and a lifelong commitment. Ajax must be brought back to Miami to be neutered when he is age-appropriate. If your application is approved, the $650 adoption fee must be paid upfront before Ajax is placed in your home for the foster-to-adopt period.
