He loves people, happily approaches strangers, enjoys being held, and is always ready to give kisses. He has spent time in an adoption center meeting many different people and is comfortable around adults, seniors, men, and children. Roy is very intelligent, social, and full of energy. He walks nicely even with people he has never met before, enjoys exploring, and follows his handler well. He is also very good in the car and comfortable in busy environments. He gets along extremely well with other dogs of different sizes and ages. Roy loves to play and would be very happy to have a playful dog as a companion. He also does well around cats - he may go over to say hello, but if the cat is not interested, he moves on. Roy is nearly house-trained; he knows how to use pee pads indoors, but he prefers to go potty outside. At home, he does not bark much and has not shown destructive behavior. He also has no issues around food or toys and prefers to avoid conflict rather than compete. Roy would be a great match for an active family.
