About Zoe

Zoe has been abandoned, starved, shot, and was facing euthanasia in the shelter when I pulled her as a foster through Out of the Woods. I fostered her Zoe for a year and in that time there were several people who showed interest but then backed out after learning she was a senior dog. Finally she was adopted by an elderly woman and for the last year Zoe has had a wonderful life. Her new owner is no longer able to live alone and must move in with family out of state, they're not allowing her to bring Zoe with her. Zoe is wonderful with people of all ages, but she is unpredictable with other dogs, especially other female dogs. This is a problem because I have a house full of fosters as it is, 3 of them being female. This means that Zoe spends the majority of her time in a kennel now, which is hard on her bc for a senior dog she is more playful than all of my other fosters combined. She is a happy and playful girl despite all of the hardship that she has had to endure, and she's endured so much. Please, somebody give Zoe a chance at a good life her last half!! Zoe is 8-9 years old, she is spayed, she is up to date on her shots. She is fully potty trained, does well on and off leash, she is crate trained, and she is all around a well behaved dog. For the last year she has been an outside dog and even though there was no fence on the property, Zoe never wandered far from her home.
